About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 82 × 126 cm (2'8" x 4'2"), plant dyed and reversible. Red and cream diamonds in seven columns, edged all round in blue.
The red diamonds are dyed with madder and show a lively abrash, the cream ones with weld; inside them sit small motifs in orange, beige and indigo blue.
For an entryway, in front of a dresser, beside the bed, in a reading corner or in the kitchen.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
