About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 86 × 121 cm (2'10" x 4'0"), plant dyed and reversible. Blue and cream diamonds with red motifs, framed by a dark blue border.
A lovely detail: at the top the weaver broke the rule on purpose and swapped the colours of two diamonds. Blue from indigo, red from madder.
For an entryway, hallway, beside the bed or as a small wall hanging.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
