About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 102 × 160 cm (3'4" x 5'3"), plant dyed and reversible. Madder red lines divide the field into diamonds of green, blue, orange and cream, framed by a cream border with hexagons.
The border is dyed with weld and carries hexagons in green, orange, blue and beige. On the very outside the running-water motif runs twice, in beige and in indigo blue.
For an entryway, beside the bed, in front of an armchair or in a reading corner.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
