About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 104 × 150 cm (3'5" x 4'11"), plant dyed and reversible. Red lines form a lattice of green and white diamonds, framed by a cream border.
Every diamond holds a motif in blue, orange or white. On the outside the running-water motif runs in two rows, one beige from madder, weld and alum, one blue from indigo.
For an entryway, at the foot of the bed, in front of a desk or in front of the fireplace.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
