About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 101 × 152 cm (3'4" x 5'0"), plant dyed and reversible. A chain of linked diamonds in red, green and cream, framed by a dark blue border and a zigzag edge.
At the outer edge cream and red play with positive and negative space: the same two colours form points in both directions. The blue border is dyed with indigo and shows a clear abrash.
For an entryway, beside the bed, under a small table or in a reading corner.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
