About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 104 × 149 cm (3'5" x 4'11"), plant dyed and reversible. Indigo blue diamonds down the middle, flanked by diamonds in grey and cream and framed by a grey brown border.
The grey brown of the border is not dyed: it is the natural colour of the sheep's wool, with a gentle abrash. Motifs in blue and cream alternate on top of it.
For an entryway, a hallway, beside the bed or in front of an armchair in a reading corner.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
