About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 107 × 150 cm (3'6" x 4'11"), plant dyed and reversible. Red lines form a lattice of green and cream diamonds in the field, framed by an indigo blue border.
The narrow outer edge is dyed light brown with walnut shell and paired with natural undyed white wool. The green comes from indigo and weld, the yellow from weld, the red from madder.
For an entryway, beside the bed, in front of an armchair or under a desk in a home office.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
