About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 106 × 155 cm (3'6" x 5'1"), plant dyed and reversible. A cream field with diamonds in red and green, framed by a natural white border with colourful motifs.
The white border is undyed sheep's wool. On the very outside runs the running-water motif in indigo blue with abrash, next to sections in madder red.
Light and friendly for a bedroom, an entryway, in front of an armchair or on the wall.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
