About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 107 × 155 cm (3'6" x 5'1"), plant dyed and reversible. A cream field of colourful diamonds, framed by a dusty pink border.
The border is lightly dyed with madder and has a gentle abrash, while the colours in the field are brighter. Down the middle run full diamonds in red, white, grey and orange.
For an entryway, a hallway, at the foot of the bed or under a small table.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
