About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 104 × 153 cm (3'5" x 5'0"), plant dyed and reversible. Cream diamonds on an earthy ground, framed by a border of panels in orange, red, green and grey.
The grey with its abrash comes from pomegranate peel with iron, the orange from madder, the green from weld and indigo. A zigzag band in cream, grey, red and orange runs between the two borders.
For an entryway, in front of a sofa, between two beds or under a desk.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
