About this piece
Handwoven kilim rug in undyed, hand-spun sheep's wool, 100 × 150 cm (3'3" x 4'11"), reversible. Fine stripes in grey, beige and cream with a small goat in one corner.
The art lies in arranging the undyed wool tones: their change creates stripes and abrash without any dye.
Woven double-sided. Suits modern, Scandinavian and minimalist rooms.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
